(West Fargo, ND) -- Officials in West Fargo are asking drivers to be aware of road and parks crews who are working on a couple of forestry projects.
The city says private contractors will be treating trees in the Meadowridge and Sommerset subdivisions for the Emerald Ash Borer.
Over the next two weeks nearly 400 trees will be injected with a treatment meant to slow the progression of the disease.
Meantime about 140 new trees are being planted in the north and south boulevards of 12th Avenue NE and NW from 9th Street NE to 9th Street NW.
