(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The Feeding Our Future federal fraud trial will resume today in Minneapolis.

Former employee Hadith Ahmed testified yesterday that he took kickbacks to get rich off of federal reimbursements for meals for low-income children.

He was the first of the defendants to plead guilty.

Ahmed confessed that he was aware that fake invoices were approved and meal-count forms were inflated.

Since the FBI raided Feeding Our Future offices more than two years ago, 70 people have been charged and indicted in one of the largest pandemic-related fraud schemes in the country.
