(Eagan, MN) -- The Minnesota Vikings will have a punting competition this offseason.
The team signed punter Seth Vernon to a contract yesterday. Vernon is expected to compete with incumbent punter Ryan Wright for the starting job during training camp. Vernon hasn't seen an NFL field since punting in one preseason game with the Falcons in 2022.
