UNITED STATES – The AFL-CIO says North Dakota is the sixth most dangerous state to work in.
The survey finds nearly seven out of 100,000 North Dakotans died while working on the job in the past year. The state also had the second-highest rate of workplace-related injuries nationwide.
Officials believe cuts to OSHA have led to fewer inspections leading to more workplace incidents.
