Two people seriously hurt in overnight crash in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Two people are hurt after a crash in Fargo early Thursday morning.

Fargo PD says at 3:43 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, they were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of University Dr. S and 15 1/2 Ave. S near the Southside Center.

Police say witnesses told them a vehicle driven by Richee Koomsman, a 20-year-old Fargo resident, was speeding, crossing the centerline, and struck an oncoming vehicle.

Both people in the vehicle that was hit suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries and were taken for treatment.

Koomsman was arrested for outstanding warrants with potentially additional charges. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
