UND announces milestone in its ‘Forever UND’ campaign

(GRAND FORKS, ND) – The University of North Dakota has met a fundraising goal – early.

The University announced Wednesday that the goal of $500 million was reached on April 30, which is 20 months before it was projected to be met. The campaign started in 2018, with the public phase announced in 2023.

DeAnna Carlson Zink, CEO of the UND Alumni Association and Foundation, says the milestone ‘is a testament to the power of our collective vision, the dedication of our UND community and the belief in the forever we can achieve together.’

In announcing the milestone, Carlson Zink revealed a new fundraising goal of $625 million to be raised by the original end date of the campaign, on December 31, 2026.
