Motorcyclist dies in Fargo crash

(FARGO, ND) – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Wednesday in Fargo.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened at Main Avenue and 42nd Street South in Fargo just before 4 p.m.

Authorities say the motorcycle, driven by a 34-year-old West Fargo man, was reportedly heading at a high rate of speed when it collided with a motorhome that was pulling into a parking lot on Main Avenue.

The motorcyclist was killed, while an 86-year-old Grand Forks man who was driving the motorhome was unharmed.

An investigation is ongoing.
