Buxton three-run homer powers Twins past Orioles

A three run third inning propelled the Minnesota Twins to a 5-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night.

Simeon Woods Richardson gave up two runs over 4 ⅔ innings in a no-decision. Danny Coulombe picked up the win after tossing an inning in relief. Jhoan Duran earned his fifth save of the season.

Byron Buxton hit a three-run homer, his ninth of the seasons. Harrison Bader added a two-run homer in his pinch hit at bat in the seventh inning.

The Twins and O’s will wrap up their three game series on Thursday afternoon beginning with the first pitch at 12:10 p.m. Joe Ryan will be on the mound for Minnesota while Dean Kremer counters for Baltimore.
