Three run seventh inning powers RedHawks past Cougars

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took down the Kane County Cougars 5-2 on Monday evening. The RedHawks scored three runs in the seventh inning to pull away from the Cougars.

Alec Olund and Eric Meza drove in two runs apiece. Marcus Chiu added an RBI.

Orlando Rodriguez struck out five batters over 5 ⅔ innings in a no-decision. Jake Dykhoff tossed 1 ⅓ innings in relief, earning the win. Naswell Paulino recorded one out while Garrett Alexander struck out a pair of batters. Alex DuBord shut the door in the ninth inning with a scoreless inning and the shutout.

The RedHawks and Cougars will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
