Fargo Cass Public Health administers 30 doses of MMR vaccine at walk-in clinic

(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Cass Public Health officials held a measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine walk-in clinic on Thursday.

The clinic comes on the heels of 12 cases of the measles has been reported as of Thursday in North Dakota, with two in Cass County. The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services says the two cases in Cass County are not related to the remainder of the cases, which all have been reported in Williams County.

A total of 30 doses of the MMR vaccine was administered by clinic staff on Thursday, according to spokeswoman Holly Scott.

The walk-in clinic was held at the Fargo Cass Public Health building.

“The most effective way to prevent the spread of measles is the MMR vaccine,” Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Junior posted on X in April.
