WILLISTON, N.D. – North Dakota health officials are sending extra resources to respond to measles cases.
A mobile medical unit is stationed at CHI Saint Alexius Medical Center in Williston and will remain there for as long as needed.
It has between eight to 16 beds and can help evaluate people with symptoms or those who believe they were exposed to measles.
North Dakota has 13 confirmed cases of the measles. Eleven are in Williams County and two are in Cass County. Click here for more information from the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services.
Fargo Cass Public Health will have a second walk in measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine clinic at its headquarters at 13th Avenue South and 25th Street Tuesday, May 20 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Click here for more information.
