Spring planting gets underway in North Dakota

BISMARCK, ND – Spring planting is underway for farmers across North Dakota as conditions continue to improve.

A recent report from the USDA says almost four-days were suitable for field work last week.  Several crops are ahead of schedule compared to last year’s planting pace.  Crops like soybeans are exceeding their five-year average rate thanks to the planting conditions.
