WEST FARGO, N.D. – West Fargo City Commissioners unanimously passed an ordinance banning sleeping and living in storage facilities.
It also bans living or sleeping in buildings, vehicles, or temporary structures not designed for residential use including storage lockers and tents.
The ordinance was drafted after commissioners heard from people who say they saw people they believed were living in storage facilities near their businesses.
Violating the ban is a Class B Misdemeanor.
