Lynx dominate final three quarters in win over Mercury

The Minnesota Lynx dominated the Phoenix Mercury 88-65 on Tuesday night. Minnesota trailed by four after the first quarter before outscoring the Mercury by 13 in the second quarter to take control of the game.

Napheesa Collier powered the Lynx with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Natisha Hiedeman added 18 points off the bench. Kayla McBride and Alanna Smith chipped in 13 points apiece. Bridget Carleton scored three points with three rebounds, and three assists while surpassing 1,000 career points scored.

Minnesota improved to 8-0 on the season with the win. The Lynx will return to the hardwood on Sunday in Dallas when they battle the Wings at 3 p.m.
