FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man who is facing multiple charges after an alleged shooting inside Old Broadway has entered a plea in the case.
Daniel Scott is facing charges of robbery with dangerous weapon, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, and violation of a protection order.
On June 5, Scott plead not guilty to all five charges.
Documents say the incident happened on Sunday, April 27, around 12:45 a.m.
Camera footage inside the Old Broadway shows Scott hitting the victim on the back of the head with a pistol and then chasing him outside the bar. Documents say Scott then fired one round at the ground before continuing to chase the victim.
Police say they were later called to Essentia Hospital at 1:25 a.m. where the victim told them what had happened.
Around 2:30 a.m., Scott was taken into custody after a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving with no lights.
