The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took their series rubber match from the Kansas City Monarchs 9-6 on Thursday night.
Tyler Jandron only gave up one run over seven innings, earning the victory. Kyle Johnston struggled out of the bullpen, giving up five runs while only recording two outs. Garrett Alexander closed the door, recording the game’s final four outs.
Juan Fernandez led the offensive attack with four RBI. Alexfri Planez added two RBI in the win.
The RedHawks will now return home to Newman Outdoor Field for a weekend series against Lake Country that begins Friday evening at 7:02 p.m.
