POLK COUNTY, Minn. – Law enforcement is looking for a naked person accused of burglarizing a home in Polk County.
Deputies went to a home in Sullivan Township around 5:00 Friday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says the homeowner found a nude person in the basement and they ran off before deputies got there.
State Patrol Troopers, East Grand Forks Police officers and deputies found a vehicle the suspect is believed to have used in a ditch near the home.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no reason to believe there is a threat to public safety. Authorities have not said if the suspect took anything from the home.
