Salmonella found in pistachio cream sold in Minnesota

UNITED STATES – Federal health officials say people are getting sick in Minnesota in connection to a salmonella outbreak linked to Emek pistachio cream.

The Centers For Disease Control says three people in Minnesota and one in New Jersey became ill from March through May, including one person that had to go to the hospital.

The agency suspects many more have gotten sick because most people are able to recover without medical care.
