Four homer afternoon powers Twins past Reds

The Minnesota Twins took down the Cincinnati Reds 12-5 on Thursday afternoon.

Chris Paddack gave up four runs over five innings, earning the win. The bullpen struck out seven batters over four innings while only giving up one run.

Ryan Jeffers powered Minnesota with a home run and four RBI. Byron Buxton added two solo home runs. Kody Clemens hit a two-run homer as well. Trevor Larnach, Carlos Correa, Ty France, and Brooks Lee each chipped in an RBI.

The Twins will now return home to Target Field for a weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers. First pitch for the opening game of the series will be Friday night at 7:10 p.m. Joe Ryan will be on the mound for Minnesota while Milwaukee sends Freddy Peralta to the bump.
