A five run fifth inning powered the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 7-6 win over the Milwaukee Milkmen in the opening game of their four game series on Monday evening.
Angelo Cabrel gave up three runs over two innings in a no-decision. Jake Dykhoff gave up a pair of runs over 5 ⅔ innings in relief en route to earning the win. Park Harm and Naswell Paulino each recorded one out in relief while Colten Davis picked up two outs from out of the bullpen.
Dillon Thomas drove in two runs and hit a solo shot. Derek Maiben hit a two-run double while Aiden Byrne chipped in an RBI.
The RedHawks and Milkmen will continue their series on Tuesday evening beginning at 7:02 p.m.
