FARGO, ND – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Fargo Police Department Sergeant Alex Bollman says officers were sent to the intersection of 42nd Street South and 9th Avenue South on a report of a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was transported to a local hospital. Their injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
The other vehicle’s driver, 18-year-old Moorhead resident, Audrey Hanson, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way when turning.

Fargo, N.D. – A crash in south Fargo resulted in the closure of an intersection but little else is known about the cause or possible victims.
First responders were spotted at 9th Avenue and 42nd Street South just before 8pm Tuesday night.
More than a half dozen police vehicles and fire trucks were at the scene.
There appeared to be a motorcycle that was possibly involved resting on its side in the middle of the roadway, along with other scattered debris from the crash.
Yellow crime scene tape was also tied around traffic signal poles to close off the area to drivers.
On social media, Fargo police advised motorists to avoid the area writing the intersection would be closed “for an extended period of time.”
The city did not immediately respond to a request for more information from Flag Family News.
