On Friday, June 27 ,West Fargo native, Jacksen Moni, was signed by the San Antonio Spurs for an NBA Summer League opportunity. Moni confirmed the signing to Flag Family Media Sports Director, James McCarty, on Friday afternoon.
Moni graduated from West Fargo Sheyenne in the spring of 2021. He was an All-State basketball player who committed to playing college basketball at Division II Northern State in Aberdeen, SD. Moni spent three seasons with the Wolves who play in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) along with local conference rival Minnesota State University Moorhead. During his time in Aberdeen, he was an All-NSIC honoree who averaged 16.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while starting in all 91 games he appeared in from 2021-24.
Leading into his senior season in 2024-25, Moni returned to Fargo to play for his hometown North Dakota State Bison. The six-foot-10-inch forward started in all 27 games he dressed while averaging 20.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

Moni will report for the San Antonio Spurs in the coming days. The NBA Summer League is scheduled to be played from July 10-20 on the ESPN family of networks.
