Fargo man facing multiple felony charges of gross sexual imposition

FARGO, ND – A Fargo man faces multiple felony charges after an incident in early June involving a juvenile female.

According to court documents, Abdallah Al Gburi is accused of four counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, with three of the four counts each Class AA felonies. The fourth count is a Class A felony. Each of the counts carries a minimum mandatory sentence of five years in prison and five years of supervised probation, along with registration as a sexual offender.

Court documents say the victim and suspect met each other through the social media app Snapchat and spoke before arranging a meeting. It was after that initial meeting that the juvenile female said the first sexual encounter took place. Another incident took place involving sexual activity. The night the two were approached by police, the two were in Al Gburi’s car and engaged in sexual activity.

He’s in the Cass County Jail in Fargo on a $500,000 bond. He will be back in jail on August 13 for a preliminary hearing.
