Minnesota Lynx were outscored 27-14 in the fourth quarter of a 79-71 loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday afternoon.
Courtney Williams paced the Lynx with 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Napheesa Collier chipped in 18 points and seven rebounds. Bridget Carleton tallied 10 points and four assists while Jessica Shepard scored eight points off the bench.
Minnesota fell to a record of 17-3 on the season. The Lynx will now visit the Los Angles Sparks on Thursday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m.
