$13.4 million awarded to help with Hector International Airport Expansion Project

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – More than $31 million has been awarded to airports across North Dakota, and $13.4 million of that will be going to Hector International Airport to help with their terminal expansion project.

The funding helps expand the terminal by over 35,000 square feet, and will also include four new gates and the construction of a new apron.

“With this additional $13.4 million, we’ve now secured more than $53 million for the Hector Terminal Expansion Project,” said Sen. John Hoeven. “This project will modernize and increase capacity at the Fargo Airport and ensure we’re able to safely and efficiently meet the needs of travelers.”

The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
