Police respond to disturbance involving 86 47 sign

FARGO, ND — Fargo Police say they received a report of an 8647 sign on the walking bridge over I-94.

Sergeant Alex Nelson said police responded to a disturbance after 12:30 p.m. in the area of 20th Avenue South and 16 ½ Street South.

Upon further investigation, it was found that two individuals were on the walking bridge over Interstate 94 displaying “86 47” signs. Two people had seen the signs and approached, intending to remove the signs when a physical altercation occurred.

All four were injured but no one was transferred to the hospital.

A report for disorderly conduct and simple assault is being completed, but no arrests were made.
