WEST FARGO, N.D. – A Moorhead man is accused of being drunk behind the wheel while leading West Fargo Police on a chase on Saturday.
The department said officers tried to stop a vehicle in the 50o block of 32nd Avenue East around 1:00 AM.
Spike strips were used near 32nd Avenue East and Sheyenne Street, where the driver kept going until officers used a PIT maneuver to disable the vehicle near the Sheyenne River diversion.
Thirty-year-old Alan Walker faces DUI, DUI refusal and driving under suspension charges.
The vehicle he was driving has been impounded.
