Fargo, N.D. – Organizers of this year’s Downtown Fargo Street Fair say the event saw high attendance numbers that have not been registered in quite some time.
Downtown Community Partnership says the number of people who arrived during the three-day fair was up by more than 10% compared to 2024.
In all, more than an estimated 100,000 people arrived between July 17th and July 19th.
Location technology was used by DCP to keep tabs on attendance. The highest performing day turned out to be Saturday, which was up by more than 16% compared to the year prior.
According to DCP, vendors reported running out of product before the fair ended because of the crowd size.
“This event is a true testament to the vibrancy of Downtown Fargo and the spirit of our community,” said Rocky Schneider, Executive Director of the DCP in a statement.
“We are showing the region that Downtown Fargo is still the vibrant cultural and economic hub of the region.”
Next year, the city will mark the fair’s 50th anniversary. DCP is also looking for ideas to plan for the celebration.
