OXBOW, ND – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the authorities were called to a pediatric near-drowning in Oxbow on Saturday.
It happened at around 5:30 p.m. at a residential address in the community.
As deputies arrived on the scene, they learned the patient had been loaded into a Sanford AirMed helicopter and transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. A subsequent investigation revealed the child has been discharged.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is working with the family to learn more details about what happened.
