RedHawks edge Goldeyes in Winnipeg

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored three runs in the sixth inning of a 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Golgeyes in their series opener on Monday evening.

Seven pitchers recorded at least one out for Fargo-Moorhead. Angelo Cabral gave up one run over 4 1/3 innings, earning the win. Kyle Johnston, Parker Harm, and Garrett Alexander each tossed an inning. Orlando Rodriguez and Colten Davis recorded two outs apiece while Naswell Paulino picked up one out.

Alex Olund and Michael Hallquist drove in a run apiece. Brendon Dadson led the offense with a three-run homer.

The RedHawks and Goldeyes will square off again on Tuesday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
