The National Weather Service in Grand Forks ND has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota...North Dakota... Red River of the North at Fargo affecting Clay and Cass Counties. South Branch Buffalo River at Sabin affecting Clay County. Buffalo River near Dilworth affecting Clay County. Maple River near Mapleton (South of I-94) affecting Cass County. We will see two rounds of storms coming into the area on Thursday and Friday evenings. Here's a look at around 11pm on Thursday:
A line of strong to severe storms approaching from the west with damaging winds and hail possible along with heavy rain.
A second round of severe storms will be here Friday evening around 6 to 7pm:
This line appears more potent with hail and isolated tornadoes possible. This on top of flooding rainfall last night throughout parts of the area, mainly along and south of I-94:
1-4″ of rain fell Tuesday evening causing flooding throughout parts of the F/M area and with MORE additional rain of 1-2″ possible.
