FARGO, N.D. – Fargo firefighters responded to a possible dumpster fire around 1:30 AM Thursday, August 6 that could have lead to a nearby building losing power.
Crews got a call around 1:30 and went to the 1300 block of 34th Street South near Grand Inn and Cash Wise.
The department says they found furniture and garbage on fire that appeared to have spread to an electrical box and a fence. The flames were quickly put out.

No one was hurt and a cause is under investigation.
“There was evidence of an encampment near the fire scene,” Fargo Police Lieutenant Shane Aberle said.
Police say no one has been arrested in connection with the fire.
Flag Family News has reached out to Xcel Energy about the power outage, but the company didn’t immediately respond.
