One person shot early Saturday morning in Fargo

FARGO, ND – Fargo Police are investigating a report of a shooting early this morning.

They responded to the area of 10th Street North and 6th Avenue North just after midnight, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound.

Authorities began life-saving efforts before the victim was transported by ambulance for treatment, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The preliminary investigation shows the suspect and victim were in a physical altercation before the shooting took place.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving. They used a K-9 and drone to search for him. He’s described as a scruffy-looking white male wearing a red shirt.
