Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks fell short to the Sioux City Explorers 7-6 in 10 innings on Tuesday evening.
Kyle Crigger gave up six runs over five innings in a no-decision. Tyler Jeans threw two scoreless innings out of the bullpen followed by a shutout inning from Kyle Johnston. Parker Harm gave up one run over two innings and was tagged with the loss.
Lamar Sparks paced the offense with two RBI. Hunter Clanin, Michael Hallquist, Juan Fernandez, and Nick Northcut each drove in a run in the game.
The RedHawks and Explorers will continue their series on Wednesday night at Newman Outdoor Field with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
