Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were defeated by the Sioux City Explorers 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Kolby Kiser only gave up one run over seven innings of work in a no-decision. Kyle Johnston gave up one run over two innings out of the bullpen and was tagged with the loss.
Juan Fernandez drove in the only Fargo-Moorhead run.
The RedHawks and Explorers will conclude their series on Thursday night at Newman Outdoor Field with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
