The Minnesota Twins fell short to the Detroit Tigers 4-3 in 11 innings.
Bailey Ober gave up three runs over 5 ⅓ innings in a no-decision. Kody Funderburk recorded two outs in relief. Brooks Kriske and Michael Tonkin threw a scoreless inning apiece. Cole Sands tossed a pair of shutout innings. Erasmo Ramirez gave up one run in an inning of work and was tagged with the loss.
Edouard Julien hit a solo home run. Ryan Jeffers and Luke Keaschall each added an RBI in the game.
The Twins and Tigers will continue their series on Friday night with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Jose Urena will be on the mound for Minnesota while Charlie Morton counters for Detroit.
