FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Fargo Fire Department responded to 40th Ave S and University Dr S in Fargo on Sunday, August 17, at around 4:08 p.m., for a report of a fuel or oil-like substance in the Rose Coulee.
According to the Fargo Fire Department, a person out for a walk smelled what appeared to be some sort of fuel coming from the coulee.
Fargo Fire did confirm that there was a fuel on the coulee which is an unknown type at this time. Crews successfully stopped it before it reached the Red River. The source of the fuel has not yet been determined.
