Minnesota Twins fell in their series opener to the Athletics 6-3.
Joe Ryan gave up five runs over four innings and was tagged with the loss. Pierson Ohl only gave up one run in four innings out of the bullpen. Erasmo Ramirez tossed a scoreless inning.
Brooks Lee and Ryan Jeffers each hit a solo home run. Matt Wallner also added an RBI.
