The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks dropped a matchup to the Gary SouthShore RailCats 11-3 on Wednesday.
Kolby Kiser gave up seven runs over 5 ⅓ innings and was tagged with the loss. Kyle Johnston gave up three runs while only recording two outs in relief. Tyler Jeans tossed two scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Garrett Alexander gave up one run in one inning. RedHawks pitching gave up 13 hits and walked six batters in the loss.
Juan Fernandez drove in a pair of runs. Jose Sermo chipped in an RBI.
The RedHawks and RailCats will wrap up their series with a rubber match on Thursday afternoon with first pitch slated for 12:30 p.m.
