ESPN Events has announced a pair of future Vegas Kickoff Classic games at Allegiant Stadium that will feature matchups of top FCS programs from the Missouri Valley Football Conference and Big Sky Conference.
The North Dakota State Bison will face the Montana State Bobcats on Labor Day weekend in 2027 with the South Dakota State Jackrabbits facing the Montana Grizzlies in 2029. Game dates, times and television networks will be announced at a later date.
The 2027 game between the Bison and Bobcats falls on the same weekend as a previously announced first-ever meeting between the Miami Hurricanes and Utah Utes. They’re calling the game the “Battle of the U” and it is scheduled for Saturday, September 4.
