North Dakota State football has signed a home-and-home series contract with Southland Conference member Incarnate Word.
The Bison will open the 2026 season on the road in San Antonio against UIW on Saturday, August 29. NDSU will welcome the Cardinals to the Fargodome in the 2028 season opener on Saturday, August 26.
NDSU and UIW have met twice previously. The first meeting was the second time ESPN’s College GameDay was in Fargo back in 2014. The Bison won that meeting 58-0. The most recent meeting was in the 2022 FCS Semifinals in Fargo where the Bison also won, this time by a score of 35-32.
