UNITED STATES – South Dakota and Minnesota’s attorneys general want to crack down on social media apps they say are dangerous for children.
Marty Jackley, Keith Ellison and 35 other states’ top prosecutors sent a letter to Meta. It demands stricter controls on a new location-sharing feature on Instagram. They warn it could put kids in danger without proper controls.
Earlier this week, Ellison sued TikTok calling the app “digital nicotine” for creating addictive content.
Flag Family News reached out to Jackley and North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley to see if he’ll join the TikTok lawsuit, but we haven’t heard back.
