FARGO/WEST FARGO, ND – Cass County Vector Control is scheduling a truck-mounted mosquito spraying in the metro.
The cities of Fargo and West Fargo will be sprayed for mosquitoes on Wednesday night beginning at 7:30 p.m.
This application is targeted for severe nuisance conditions. Additionally, the area is currently at the highest risk level for West Nile virus. Residents are urged to take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 13 cases of West Nile Virus have been reported in Cass County. That’s the most a county has in North Dakota, ahead of Burleigh County, which has eight confirmed cases of West Nile Virus.
