The Minnesota Twins defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-5 on Tuesday night. They trailed 4-3 entering the ninth inning before scoring four runs that included two home runs in the final inning.
Bailey Ober gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision. Cole Sands tossed a scoreless inning, followed by 1 ⅓ shutout innings from Kody Funderburk, and Michael Tonkin picking up two outs. Justin Topa gave up one run in the ninth inning while picking up the save.
Matt Wallner hit the go-ahead three-run homer in the ninth inning. Luke Keaschall added a two-run homer followed by Mickey Gasper’s solo home run. Brooks Lee also picked up an RBI.

The Twins and Blue Jays will wrap up their series on Wednesday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:07 p.m. Simeon Woods-Richardson will be on the mound for Minnesota.
