RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. – A woman is dead after the bicycle she was riding was rear-ended by a car.
Troopers responded around 3:45 PM Tuesday, August 26 in the 900 block of County Road 81 in rural Fairmount.
The Highway Patrol said a 45-year-old Fairmount woman died at the scene and wasn’t wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old Hankinson woman, received minor injuries. Troopers say she wasn’t wearing a seat belt and charges against her are pending.
