MOORHEAD – Moorhead Police have arrested the man wanted after evading police and attempting to enter a home this morning.
At just before 1 p.m., police were called to the 2800 block of Village Green Drive South. A concerned citizen called after observing an unknown individual entering a neighbor’s vehicle.
Police arrived and located 21-year-old Krayshawn Tyler concealed in the trunk of the vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident on an outstanding felony warrant.
Police say there is no further information to release regarding his arrest.

MOORHEAD – Moorhead Police are searching for a man who evaded police after an incident early Wednesday morning.
According to the Moorhead Police Department, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 2900 block of 16th Avenue South. Prior to the arrival of officers to the scene, one of the individuals involved, identified as 21-year-old Krayshawn Tyler, had left the scene.
The investigation revealed that Tyler had an active arrest warrant issued by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.The warrant was for a release violation in relation to a felony first-degree aggravated robbery.
Tyler is described as an African American male, five feet six inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
A Clay County K-9 team was requested to assist in tracking the suspect.
A short time later, a resident in the 1800 block of 33rd Street South reported an attempted burglary.
The caller stated that a male, matching Tyler’s description, attempted to enter their home via the patio door but left the scene after being confronted by the homeowner.
Police issued a shelter-in-place focused on the area at just before 2 a.m. to notify residents in the area of the attempted burglary about the ongoing police activity. The alleged attempt by Tyler to enter an occupied residence, combined with a known violent criminal history, prompted the issuance of the alert. The shelter-in-place was lifted at around 2 a.m. after an extensive search, including deployment of a drone by the Moorhead Fire Department.
Officers have determined that Tyler is likely no longer in the immediate area. Moorhead Police are still attempting to locate him for the warrant, along with being a person of interest in the attempted burglary.
