Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting said in an email to Flag Family News after consulting Clay County Attorney Brian Melton, no more information on the threat to Dilworth-Felton Public Schools can be released.
MOORHEAD, Minn. – Clay County officials have been arrested a juvenile who had sent a threat regarding Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Public Schools to a group of friends.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting said the juvenile male was taken into custody Monday afternoon and transported to the West Central Regional Juvenile Center in Moorhead without incident. He has fully cooperated with the investigation, according to Empting.
The male was booked in for threats of violence.
Empting said more information may be released Tuesday after consulting with the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
