Vikings with 12 players on injury report heading into weekend against Bengals

As we head into the weekend, Minnesota Vikings fans are getting a better idea of who will and will not play this weekend against Cincinnati. 12 players appeared on Thursday afternoon’s injury report. (Not including players on IR or out due to suspension)

Of those 12 players on the list two were full participants, six were limited, and for did not participate. OLB Jonathan Greenard (oblique) and CB Jeff Okudah (concussion) were full participants. OL Donovan Jackson (wrist), S Theo Jackson (hip), LB Austin Keys (groin), TE Josh Oliver (ankle), S Harrison Smith (illness), and LB Andrew Van Ginkel (concussion) were all limited in practice. OL Christian Darrisaw (knee), OL Ryan Kelly (concussion), OL Justin Skule (concussion), and QB JJ McCarthy (ankle, already ruled out) did not participate in Thursday’s practice.

Minnesota will plan on starting Bismarck, N.D. native, and former NDSU QB, Carson Wentz in Week 3. The Vikings will welcome the Joe Burrow-less (out with toe injury) Cincinnati Bengals to US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday with kickoff slated for noon and game coverage available locally on CBS.
