FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Authorities with the Fargo Police Department were called to 615 36th Street North in response to a suspicious vehicle around the area on September 20 around 3 a.m.
Officers arrived at a storage unit to identify Chance Standridge behind the units. When policed asked about why he was there, Standridge claimed to be “just sitting” behind the units, and heard from a friend that they wanted them emptied.
As authorities spoke with Standridge, a second man identified as Eric Kienitz, sprinted out of one of the open units according to court documents.
Police were able to get Kienitz to stop and began to talk to both of the suspects. They claim that they heard the contents in the storage units were going to be destroyed, so they wanted to check out the contents.
Both men were arrested. Standridge is being charged for burglary while Kienitz is being arrested for refusal to halt and burglary.
