FARGO – Travelers on I-94 are set to see a change come on the interstate.
The Red River Valley Alliance and ASN Contractors, along with the NDDOT, say the westbound passing lane near mile marker 342 will open Friday morning. Traffic will be moved from the bypass lane to the new permanent alignment.
“Full opening of the crossings will be staggered, with the eastbound passing lane anticipated to open next week,” the groups say. “Both westbound and eastbound driving lanes are expected to open by the end of October.”
Speeds will be reduced and width restrictions in place.
